2.1 App & Native Mobile Permissions

LibraryOrbit / TestOrbit may request device permissions only when needed to provide app features:

• Camera: Used for QR code scanning, RFID/card workflows, and other in-app scanning features. Camera access is used only after your explicit permission and we do not sell camera data.
• Microphone: Used only if a feature inside the app requires audio capture through the web app experience. Audio access is used only after your explicit permission.
• Location: Used to help show nearby libraries and location-based library services when you allow location access.
• Notifications: Used to send booking confirmations, reminders, account alerts, and service updates.
• Push Notification Channels: Used in our native application to notify you of daily quizzes, leaderboards, and newly launched test series. You retain absolute control to enable or disable these notifications via app configurations or system settings.

You can disable these permissions anytime from your Android device settings or in-app preferences. Some features may not work if the related permission is disabled.
